How it works

1. Find your V2 device ID — printed on the back or bottom of your V2 lockbox (also shown in the Lubn app or PMS under Devices).
2. Order your AI Lockbox 3 — at checkout, enter the discount code TRADE- followed by your device ID (example: TRADE-A1B2C3). $70 is taken off instantly.
3. Your V3 arrives ready to go — it ships pre-activated with a 2-month free trial.
4. 14-day transition window — 14 days after your V3 is shipped, the V2 is permanently deactivated.
5. Recycle your V2 locally — see instructions below. Please don't mail it back to us.

Program terms

• Offer valid August 4, 2026 through January 31, 2027.
• $70 off any AI Lockbox 3 variant (Non-GPS, Non-GPS with Wall-mount kit, or GPS).
• One trade-in code per V2 device; each code can be used once. If you own multiple V2 devices, each device ID is its own code.
• Codes are tied to the V2 device and are non-transferable for cash or credit.
• Cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers.
• The traded-in V2 device is permanently deactivated 14 days after your AI Lockbox 3 ships. Deactivation cannot be reversed once completed, except where required in connection with a return.
• If you return your AI Lockbox 3 for a refund, contact support before the 14-day window ends so we can cancel the scheduled V2 deactivation.
• Any active V2 subscription is closed at deactivation; your V3's 2-month free trial covers the transition. The remaining V2 subscription will be transferred to the V3 and continue after the free trial ends.
• If your code doesn't work at checkout, email service@lubn.com with a photo of your V2 device label and we'll sort it out.
• Lubn reserves the right to modify or end this program for abuse or error; orders already placed are always honored.

Recycling your V2

Please don't ship your V2 back to us. Recycling it locally is faster for you and far better for the planet than a cross-country return trip — it recovers the same metals and electronics with a fraction of the footprint.

Before you recycle

1. Wait for the V3 shipping confirmation email. 
2. Do not keep any V2 accessories. V2 shackle and key storage are not compatible with V3.

• Best Buy and Staples stores accept small electronics free at customer service.
• Your city or county's e-waste / household hazardous waste collection site.
